París, la ciudad más visitada del mundo, con cerca de 40 millones de turistas al año y una de los más fáciles de recorrer en transporte público.
Hay 16 líneas de metro + RER (red exprés regional) + autobuses.

Consejos

Los billetes de metro son buenos durante 2 horas si no se sale de la red y si debe continuar en autobús, debe usar otro boleto.

El Noctilien: Si el metro ya está cerrado o si ha perdido el último, no se preocupe, existe este autobús para aquellos que gustan de caminar en la noche parisina; 00h30a-05:30.

El Balabus: línea especial que le brinda la oportunidad de conocer la ciudad de este a oeste. Desde la Gare de Lyon hasta el Gran Arco de la Defensa. Funciona de abril a septiembre solamente. El costo es de 1 a 3 billetes de metro, dependiendo de la distancia recorrida. Pasará la Bastilla, la isla de St. Louis, Notre Dame, el Louvre, Los Inválidos, la Torre Eiffel, los Campos Elíseos, etc.

La red ferroviaria RER cubre una gran parte de la isla-de-France. Si su estación de RER está conectada a la estación de metro, el mismo billete será válido.

There are 16 subway lines + RER (regional express network) + buses.

Tips

 Metro tickets are good for 2 hours as you do not go out of the network and whether you should continue by bus, you will need another ticket.

The Noctilien: If the subway is already closed because you missed the last one, do not worry, there is this bus for those who like to walk in the Parisian night; from 0:30 to 5:30.

The Balabus: special line that gives you the opportunity to know the city from east to west. From Gare de Lyon to the Grande Arche de la Defense. Runs from April to September only. The cost is 1 to 3 metro tickets depending on the distance traveled. You will pass the Bastille, the island St. Louis, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Les Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, etc.

The RER rail network that covers a large portion of the island-of-France. If your RER station is connected to the metro, the same ticket will be valid.

Tips

However you must register at least 10 days in advance in order to receive a free personalized tour according to your interests. Looking for more flexibility, or prefer to make plans to visit Chicago at the last minute? Use the Service ‘InstaGreeter’ to perform a FREE guided walk an hour to the city center (the LOOP). This service is offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and registration is not necessary.
