Navigator of the Seas

Navigator of the Seas is a Voyager-class cruise ship belonging to the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, built at Turku’s Finnish shipyard, Kvaerner Masa-Yards. Commissioned in December 2002, it has recently been renovated. Its maximum capacity is 3807 passengers with 1213 crew members. At the center of the ship is a large promenade with shops, bars and a cafe where you can get a snack at any time (pizza, panini, salad, fruit, biscuits, etc.). This walk has a lighting that changes according to the times of the day or the events, depending on the day. On the ceiling, you will also find an imposing sculpture that stretches along the floors that is based on the idea of a diver and the bubbles he makes when he is swimming under water. You will find activities for all the family and many of them are very appreciated by the public like the FlowRider (surf simulator), the spectacle on the ice rink, the escape room, the glow-in-the-dark laser tag, or just watch movies on a big screen outdoors under the stars. Among the restaurants you have a great choice: seafood, steak house, Japanese cuisine, Italian cuisine, etc. and you’ll find 15 bars and lounges for a drink and chat or attend live music events or screens with sports among others. The ship’s itineraries right now offer 3-4 night cruises to the Bahamas from Miami.

Tips

If you do not have a big budget and you do not like indoor cabins, you have two very interesting options, one would be to take a cabin with virtual balcony where you will have virtual images in real time navigation and the other could be an interior cabin but with windows that overlook the Promenade; they do not open but it gives you more space in the room and the feeling that you have an outside view. Of course, you will be able to see the life of the promenade at all times and the soundproofing is excellent.

If you want to take a drinks package, specialty restaurants, excursions or other services, you will find great rates if you book them online before.
