The island presents also a cultural aspect that adds to its charm with the ruins on several sites like Tumba del Caracol in homage to the God Kukulcan or another most important San Gervasio with temples where the Mayan goddess Ixchel was honored, the ruins of Castillo Real are worth the detour with its tower and its colourful frescoes that have resisted at the time. You can find shops of souvenirs and restaurants on these different points of visit.
Sea excursions are also available to fans of fishing.
