Moon Palace Jamaica is an all-inclusive hotel located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The complex has three buildings, one for accommodations in very spacious rooms with a king bed, no balconies; another one especially for families and one last for those who have a time share. It’s a good resort, not too big, with activities for all ages including non-motorized water activities, a wave simulator and even water slides for kids. You will find several restaurants: Italian (one inside and one at the seaside), Asian, seafood and grilled meat, sushi, a pizza-salad-panini area and a bakery open 24 hours a day that offers different coffee and tea specialties, pastries and ice cream all the time, a corner on the beach to enjoy the famous jerk chicken, as well as an excellent buffet with a large selection of food and a poolside bar. The beach is not very big but there are sunbeds and umbrellas everywhere. The sea is very calm because the hotel is on a small bay. The complex also has a spa, a training room, a theater, a disco, a covered scenario for evening shows, meeting rooms, a souvenir shop, a tourist agency where you can book your excursions, a currency exchange office and a very romantic place to celebrate weddings. There’s wi-fi everywhere on the site and free calls to USA and Canada from your room.

Tips

If you want to know the city of Ocho Rios with its main street full of shops and the craft market, you can do it coming out of the hotel and walking to your right; it’s really very close. You can continue to the port where the big cruise ships stop and have a drink in one of so many bars, cafes or restaurants around. You will also find a supermarket where you can buy all the local products at a good price.

If you spend 5 nights or more in the complex, you will receive a very important hotel credit that you can exchange by taking advantage of various services offered on site: spa, excursions, romantic dinner on the waterfront, etc. Ask about it at the tourist agency located at the entrance of the hotel.

If you are traveling with children or teenagers, you will find dedicated areas exclusively for them with different activities offered.

If you want to swim with dolphins, you will find this activity on site at a very affordable price.

The Skywalk is an observatory in the headquarter of Back Bay, Boston, Massachusetts, northeast of the United States. It is located at the 50th floor of the Prudential Center and from there you will have impressive 360 degree views of Boston and the surrounding area, and a guided audio tour that will allow you to have a detailed listening making you discover the different buildings, points of historical interest and monuments that make up the landscape. Galerías Pacífico, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Galerías Pacífico is one of the largest and most traditional shopping centers in Buenos Aires. This is the most frequented by tourists, the shopping center is home to the prestigious international brands, has a major restoration and the prestigious Borges Cultural Centre is located in an area of the building. It occupies an entire block and the streets surrounding it are Florida, Córdoba, San Martin and Viamonte. The building was built in 1881 as a commercial place to a shop by departments ‘Au bon Marché’, at this time, one of the most important in the Argentinian capital, it welcomed since 1896 the Museum of fine arts, today located in another place. In the year 1908 a part of the building was sold to the Buenos Aires Pacific Railway, from whom it took its current name. The emblem of the Galerías Pacífico was established in 1945 and at the same time they built the magnificent Dome with murals of the prestigious masters, Antonio Berni, Lino Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Demetrio Urruchúa, and Manuel Colmeiro, being this last one the only foreigner one. In 1989 the building was declared a National Historic Monument and it was completely renovated and transformed in a luxury Mall. The project was made by the architect Juan Carlos López. At this time, four murals of Argentinian artists have been incorporated: Roux, Alongo and Josefina Robirosa. Its beautiful architecture and works that contains make that tourists consider it one of the most beautiful malls in the world.

Tips

Do not forget your camera when you visit this mall because you will regret it deeply. It is one of the few commercial places where buy remains the second option before such artistic beauty.
You can take advantage of the visit to several things that also have nothing to do with shopping. This shopping centre has a concert hall and an exhibition room, then go to the information centre for more information on what is happening at the time of your visit especially if you like tango because tango shows are very demanded by tourists.
You will also find ATMs if you need to withdraw money from your bank account even as places to make international calls or Internet connection.
If you do not already know the “alfajores” (Argentinian typical pastry), take your time and enjoy one with a good coffee, at the cafe called “Havanna” (also one of the trademarks of the alfajores) which, according to the majority, are the best.
