The Jean Doré Beach is located at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal. It is a beautiful beach of golden sand, with quality water, only 5 minutes from downtown Montreal; accessible by car, metro, bus and bike. It is the ideal place to stroll in the sun or do water activities, play beach volleyball or go swimming with family or friends. The maximum depth is 1.60 meters and the beach is supervised with the presence of several rescuers.

Tips

You can purchase a season passport or daily entry tickets. If you opt for the second option, make sure there is space when the temperatures are high enough so you don't have the surprise of not being able to get in when you arrive because it's full.

You can bring your lunch but you will also find some options on site.

The Aquazilla attraction is not included in the price of the entrance.

Teotihuacán, Valley of Mexico, Mexico

Teotihuacán is an important archaeological site of the Valley of Mexico, containing some of the largest Mesoamerican pyramids ever built in pre-Columbian America. The site also contains large residential complexes, the Avenue of the Dead, and numerous wall paintings where the colors have been well preserved. Its origin is around 200 BC. JC and researchers believe that the Pyramid of the Sun (the largest) was completed around the year 100 AC. JC. and they calculate that the city was inhabited until the VI or VII century. The city is located at the current location of the municipalities of San Juan Teotihuacan and San Martin de las Pirámides in the State of Mexico, Mexico (about 40 km from Mexico City). It contains the Avenue of the dead (the main central avenue), the pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (Feathered Serpent) and many palaces and lesser temples but there is no fortification or military structure in the city. Currently archaeologists continue excavation to determine more history of the city. In 2003, they discovered a tunnel, about 1,800 years 100 meters long under the Feathered Serpent Temple leading to a series of tunnels and chambers that are carved into the rock.

When you visit the site, try to visit the museum where you’ll find objects of everyday life, statues, tools, etc. that will help you to discover a little more about the history of the city.
Visit also the shops around the site where you will find crafts with different items representing this lost civilization. You will have the opportunity to taste the famous liquor cactus in different flavors, a traditional drink, always appreciated in the country.

Coronado, San Diego County, California, USA

Coronado is a city and resort town in San Diego County, California, located near San Diego Bay. The San Diego-Coronado Bridge unites the two cities. The Hotel del Coronado marked the beginning of this seaside resort chosen by its beautiful and wide sandy beach on the Pacific. This small town receives a lot of tourists who like to spend weekends or vacations strolling through its beautiful streets, looking at the big beautiful houses with their lovely gardens and magnificent vegetation. There is a military base that shares the island with the city.

To visit it, there are ferries, a local bus or just, by taking the tourist bus from San Diego, you will get there because Coronado is one of the main tourist stops.

Orange Avenue is the main artery where you will find restaurants, shops, galleries and also the Museum of History and Art.

You can also visit the Hotel del Coronado which was built in 1888. Several famous people have stayed there.
