Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is a city located at the confluence of Lake of Two Mountains and Lake St-Louis, on the left bank of Sainte-Anne, at the western end of the agglomeration of Montreal, Quebec . We find a historical site of locks, MacDonald campus of McGill University where there is a forest reserve of 245 hectares, the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal and the commercial street of Sainte-Anne. There is also the Lyman Entomological Museum which contains a collection of insects and entomology research laboratory of McGill University and the Ecomuseum zoo (open all year) with nature trails and lots of vegetation. The city has a large market where you can find fresh products and you can meet producers and craftspeople.

Tips

The city is very nice especially in summer when many pleasure boats visit it. You will find many cafes, bistros, restaurants and you can make a beautiful walk on the lake shore.
There are many events throughout the year that you can view on the city website.
It is also possible to visit the Museum of Entomology with a reservation.

Playa del Carmen, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico

Playa del Carmen is a village and beach of Mexico on the Caribbean Sea in the Yucatan Peninsula and makes part of a  tourist complex known as Riviera Maya. The island of Cozumel is opposite the village. The 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida) and the pier for Cozumel is the tourist and commercial section, pedestrian area,  with many bars, discos, restaurants and shops close to the beach.

If you like sports, you are in the right place: diving, windsurfing, sailing, everything is possible.
Playa del Carmen is a perfect place to relax and enjoy,  to make excursions to other towns as Cancun (80 km), Tulum (ruins), Chichen Itza (Maya City), Xel Ha or Xcaret Eco Park (aquatic and cultural parks).
If you like coral reefs, go to Akumal, Puerto Morelos or Cozumel to enjoy the underwater world.
There aren’t many cultural activities but there are cinemas where you can watch movies in English spetially on rainy days.
If you like shopping, there‘s also a shopping mall  at Plaza Las Americas.

Rivière du Chêne Winery, St-Eustache, Quebec, Canada

The Rivière du Chêne Winery was founded in 1998 in St-Eustache, Quebec. At present, it counts with 16.5 acres of vineyards and more than 11,500 cases of wine are produced annually. It has received several honors at prestigious international competitions. The area also counts with banquet halls for events such as weddings, birthdays, business meetings, etc. From September to mid-October you can participate in the harvest; you must be 16 years old and be in good physical shape and know that you must participate in a work day that will go from 7:00 to 16:00.

Tips

The winery offers tastings throughout the year from 10:00 to 17:00 . Between June and the end of October it is also possible to visit the vineyard.
For groups , the visit and tasting are available year round by reservation.
