The Be Live Collection Canoa Hotel is a resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic located near the Eastern Nature Park and Bayahibe Beach. It is directly on Dominicus Beach. It is an all inclusive hotel and you can find several types of rooms and also villas for couples or families. There is a spa where you will find jacuzzis, saunas and you can have the opportunity to get massages. Standard rooms have one king or two double beds according to your request, flat screen TV, complete bathroom with separate shower, hair dryer, coffee maker, minibar and a large terrace overlooking the gardens and the amenities of the hotel complex but the wi-fi and the safe have extra charges (payable locally). Kasbah Valentine is a guest house located in front of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, 30 km from Ouarzazate. It has 10 air-conditioned rooms spacious enough, decorated in Berber style, with private bathrooms. There is plenty of natural light in all rooms. Upon arrival you will be welcomed in the traditional way with a mint tea and pastries. There is an onsite restaurant that serves the most typical Berber dishes: couscous, tagine, soup, salad, etc. The most valuable area of this house is the terrace from where you have a breathtaking view; it is also the ideal place to enjoy breakfast or a drink while watching the beautiful surroundings and of course with your camera in hand!

Tips

If you really want to be in a typical place, away from the big city, next to the Kasbah, this place is ideal. The owners will do everything to make your stay unforgettable.
It is best to make a reservation in advance because the house also welcomes groups who are visiting the country, whithout reservation, you might be forced to look elsewhere.
You also have an area next to the restaurant, where you can buy some crafts and even beautiful tagines.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort, St. Lucia, Caribbean

The Royalton Saint Lucia Resort is located in the Caribbean, on the island of St. Lucia; about 1h30 from the airport. It is a hotel with all-inclusive service and upscale comfort. The resort has three sections, a section for families in the main complex, the Diamond Club for superior service (with exclusive pool and reserved areas in restaurants) and the Hideaway, an exclusive quiet area for adults. There are several a la carte restaurants and depending on your package you have to book or not. There is a bar before going up to the lobby (which is upstairs, accessible with escalators) where there is usually live music at the cocktail hour. There is wi-fi throughout the site, satellite TV, non-motorized water sports and a fitness center. The site is beautiful but the beach is small and there are rocks.

Tips

The US dollar is accepted everywhere, no need to have the local currency.

If you travel with children, there is a supervised club for them with a lot of activities, there’s also another for teenagers between 13 and 17 years old.

If you want to rent a car, consider that the roads are sinuous all over the island.
