Tips

Take advantage of your stay to take the cable car that connects the spa to the Gemmi pass (2314 m) which is the only link between the canton of Valais and Bern.
If you like to walk, there are many paths that lead to Kanderberg, Wildstrubel or Adelboden.
If you prefer skiing, you will find the Torrent-Bahnen Leukerbad station (1410-2610 m).
Leukerbad hotels are not economical especially in winter that the Spa centres are always full so you can take a day trip through one of the Italian agencies of tourism in Varese for example which will transport you in comfortable buses and you could even bring your picnic for the day.
