The Big Wheel of Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Since September, 1st 2017, the Big Wheel of Montreal has been put into operation. With 60 meters of height; the equivalent of 20 floors, you will have a fantastic panoramic view of the Old Port, the St. Lawrence River and the city. The majority of the cabins (42) have very comfortable seats for 8 people, in ultra-clear tempered glass that will protect you from UV rays and they are air-conditioned in both summer and winter. It was built by a Dutch company, the Dutch Wheel. The site is not yet finished but there will be a bistro, a bar and cafe on site.

There are also VIP cabins and private cabins.

Take both experiences, you will have a very different outlook during the day and night, it’s worth it with or without good weather!

Arizona is a State in the West of the United States; bordered by California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and the Mexican States of Baja California and Sonora; located in the southwest of the country. The State is known for its rich desert landscape and its plants xerophytes (adapted to dry environments), as cactus, and for its climate which has very hot summers and mild winters. Arizona is also composed of the plateau of Colorado with its pine forests, in the North-Central portion of the State. It has a hilly terrain, where more than half of the area is composed of mountains and plateaus; which formation dates back to the prehistoric volcanism. The main rivers are the Colorado; a river that carved the Grand Canyon, the Gila and Salt River. The most important cities are Phoenix (its capital), Tucson, Mesa and Flagstaff. There are also twenty Indian reserves in the region. Tourists frequent the numerous natural and historic Arizona parks. The Grand Canyon is the best-known, busiest and widest of all.

Tips

There are several possibilities to visit the Grand Canyon. You can have an overview of the whole by making an overview by plane or helicopter. You can also arrive by car and then take a bus where cars are not allowed, and you can even make an excursion by boat by the Colorado River. Each experience will be unforgettable and you can make more than one if you stay a few days in the region because it’s worth it.
If you visit the area in summer by car, plan to have everything you need for camping because you will find interesting positions to do it and bring plenty of water. It is advisable to take maps and information from the tourist service positions and learn more about the climatic conditions to avoid problems.
You also have other activities to do like to relax in a spa or in a golf land.

Public transport in Paris, France

Paris, the most visited city in the world with nearly 40 million tourists a year and one of the easiest to navigate public transportation.
There are 16 subway lines + RER (regional express network) + buses.

Tips

 Metro tickets are good for 2 hours as you do not go out of the network and whether you should continue by bus, you will need another ticket.

The Noctilien: If the subway is already closed because you missed the last one, do not worry, there is this bus for those who like to walk in the Parisian night; from 0:30 to 5:30.

The Balabus: special line that gives you the opportunity to know the city from east to west. From Gare de Lyon to the Grande Arche de la Defense. Runs from April to September only. The cost is 1 to 3 metro tickets depending on the distance traveled. You will pass the Bastille, the island St. Louis, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Les Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, etc.

The RER rail network that covers a large portion of the island-of-France. If your RER station is connected to the metro, the same ticket will be valid.
