Miami Beach is a nearby town to that of Miami, in Florida, United States. More than half of its population is foreign born. The most spoken languages are English and Spanish but French is also used especially with tourists as almost all taxi drivers are of Haitian origin. It is located just a few kilometers from Miami downtown. It’s a tourism city that attracts tourists from all around the world, its climate is perfect for enjoying the beach most time of the year, it is rare that the temperature drops to 10 degrees.

Tips

The Airport Flyer Route 150 is an express bus service between the airport and Miami Beach that  is cheap. There is also a free electric shuttle that will transport you anywhere you like but only in Miami Beach.
Hurricane season runs from early June to late November, but in general, Miami is vulnerable right from mid-August to late September.
Avoid walking on the beach after sunset. If you have to move in the evening, choose frequented arteries.
Although in the United States you can pay with credit card almost everything, plan a little cash because for some things you’ll need it: toll, transit, parasol rentals on the beach, etc.

 

MSC Preziosa

The MSC Preziosa is a MSC Cruises liner built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire belonging to the Fantasia Class. The ship had not been ordered by MSC at first but for a Libyan company that after the fall of the Gaddafi regime, could not finish paying for it. As the construction was already underway, it was proposed to MSC that after reflection agreed to continue the construction but some modifications were made to approach the ship to those that MSC already had in the Fantasia Class. The ship was christened in Genoa on March 23rd, 2013 by Sophia Loren. It has 1751 cabins (100 more than those of the same class), 18 bridges and measures 333 meters long and 37.9 wide. There is also the longest toboggan (Vertigo) 120-meter-long, ever seen on a cruise ship, a Swarovski crystal staircase, a nightclub with panoramic views and an infinity pool. During the day, you can go through the Galaxy Restaurant kitchen anytime to get something to eat. There is a private area for a privileged clientele, the MSC Yatch Club, with pool, restaurant, bar, casino, theater and other public areas with butler service. There is also an important Aqua Park to refresh the passengers and an Eataly restaurant on the adults-only deck and the Tiki-bar for children and teenagers.

Tips

If you are traveling with your family, your children and teenagers will have as many activities and areas for them as for adults. Qualified staff will take care of them and you will travel with peace of mind; they will not be bored!

Kasbah Valentine, Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco

Kasbah Valentine is a guest house located in front of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, 30 km from Ouarzazate. It has 10 air-conditioned rooms spacious enough, decorated in Berber style, with private bathrooms. There is plenty of natural light in all rooms. Upon arrival you will be welcomed in the traditional way with a mint tea and pastries. There is an onsite restaurant that serves the most typical Berber dishes: couscous, tagine, soup, salad, etc. The most valuable area of this house is the terrace from where you have a breathtaking view; it is also the ideal place to enjoy breakfast or a drink while watching the beautiful surroundings and of course with your camera in hand!

Tips

If you really want to be in a typical place, away from the big city, next to the Kasbah, this place is ideal. The owners will do everything to make your stay unforgettable.
It is best to make a reservation in advance because the house also welcomes groups who are visiting the country, whithout reservation, you might be forced to look elsewhere.
You also have an area next to the restaurant, where you can buy some crafts and even beautiful tagines.
