Beto Carrero World is a theme park in Penha, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It was opened in 1991 by João Batista Sérgio Murad, better known as Beto Carrero; an artist playing a cowboy role. It began with a giant wheel and improvised shows under circus tents. Today it is considered the largest theme park in Latin America; an entertainment complex with rides, daily shows and a zoo. The park has seven different zones depending on the thematization. There is a motocross track, a go-kart track, a bowling alley, shops and restaurants. Among the attractions we find the Castle of Nations located at the entrance; being the largest building in the complex; the Carrousel, a 4d cinema, the place of events, several wheels from where you can have a beautiful view of the park and the region, a German city paying tribute to the German immigration of the province, an island of pirates, the tower of horror, a Russian mountain that reaches 50 meters in height and reaches 90 km / hour, etc. There is also a section that was realized with the collaboration of the company Dream Works with the style of the film Madagascar.

Tips

It is adequate to spend a minimum of 2 or 3 days in a local hotel if you want to visit several attractions. The park is too big to be able to cover it in one day.

If you only have one day, it would be better to get information before managing your time with the attractions you want to do, especially if you are going with children.

Consider that the climate of the area is usually hot so drink plenty of water, bring your sunglasses and sunscreen.
